everyone in the program went to umbria on sunday. we took buses that met down the hill from our residence and travelled to todi, a small medieval town in the italian region of umbria. we all got the chance to independently explore todi for about 1.5 hours. unfortunately, it was rainy and overcast, but it was still a beautiful little quaint town. after todi, we went to another small town. we went to this manor in the middle of nowhere and ate a 15-course lunch. it was very good! the courses were not big at all (one was just a serving of spinach), so i didn't get too full. the sun had started coming out by the time we were finished so we got to see the beautiful area surrounding the manor. there was a lake and vineyard and cute italian buildings...it was wonderful. i posted pictures of everything i saw.
we started classes on monday. i have italian at 2 pm, international finance 3- 4:30, international trade 4:30-6 and i used to have sociology 7:30-9 but i am dropping that tomorrow for a history class that will be on mondays and wednesdays 11-12:30. i just couldn't go to class that late twice a week. sooo that schedule is for all mondays and thursdays. tuesdays i only have italian at 2-3, and thursdays i have digital imaging 8:30 am-1 and italian 2-3. nobody has class on friday, which is gooood. i have been a little tired recently, so i am going to try to go to bed early tonight. i just wanted to drop a line and update my bloggy.
the weather has been very rainy and poopy...i really hope it improves soon! thats all i can think of for now.
